Organized Brainwashing

Christianity is often accused of brainwashing. A Christian preacher once said that he agreed that Christians have been brain washed. He said we have been washed by the Word of God and the blood of Jesus Christ.

"That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word" Ephesians 5:26.

"The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin" 1 John 1:7.

Many people have this phobia that Christianity uses brainwashing techniques. It is true with extreme religious groups like Isis, however, should we all be lumped together like we were all united in our methods and ideology? It is like many have blinders on that cannot differentiate between the different religious groups.

In American we are free thinkers with rights against torture or brainwashing techniques. It is illegal to brainwash by using force.

Most experts would agree that in the stages of brainwashing it has to take place in an environment of isolation, meaning all "normal" social reference points are unavailable, and mind-clouding techniques like sleep deprivation and malnutrition are typically part of the process. There is often the presence or constant threat of physical harm, which adds to the target's difficulty in thinking critically and independently.

Some who use the terms like "organized brainwashing" to refer to Christianity must be against free speech since most Christians do not use or practice brainwashing techniques. In America every free person would be guilty of brainwashing since we all have mouths that speak our opinions under the first amendment.

First Amendment

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petitition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The First Amendment is against brainwashing. The key words to look at are "right of the people peaceably to assemble."  You see, there is no coercion involved or threat to assemble. People freely assemble in America and freely exercise their rights of free speech.

I think many use words like "brainwashing" to conjure up a false idea and vague notion that Christianity is using illegal means to make converts or religious-devotees . Using language like this is sensational but far from reality.

The other word "organized" is often used with brainwashing.  We are to presume that out there in la la land there is organized brainwashing going on. Most groups who are organized, you would presume, should then come under more scrutiny. I would be far more afraid of an unorganized group than one that is organized. A lone crazy person like Charles Manson with no organization or oversight committee can get away with a lot more than a Church that has a governmental body with a board of directors.

Fear tactics can be very effective. No one wants to be be brainwashed and those who practice it should be punished. I'm sure that many who falsely use such terms will never cease with their inflammatory words until all Christians are put in prison or punished for using their God given rights.

It is just a matter of time before the world will increase their efforts at going after the alleged brain-washers. Religious tolerance will be a thing of the past and the new world of the Anti-Christ will arise on top of the bones of all Christians martyrs.

"And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?" Revelation 6:9-10.

Beware, my friends, and speak while you can. There is coming a darkness on the land that will forbid all free people from using their God given rights of free speech. The world will not tolerate those who allegedly brainwash people with the glorious news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
