I Demand Help!

A gentle less man called a Christian church last week demanding that they pay his power bill. The old lady who ran the free giveaway store replied that she is not the one to speak to about help. The argumentative man still argued and persisted that he needed help.

Minutes later the man showed up at the church run store and became belligerent in speech and conduct. "I need someone to pay my power bill he demanded. You must pay my power bill." Others who worked at the store convince the Christian lady in charge to call the police. He left just prior to their arrival.

Many people are confused about charity. They should realize that Christians have already paid for the man's power bill. In America it is called WELFARE. Americans have decided years ago to help the need through the "Welfare" system. Through our taxes Christians have already given to the poor. If you pay a lot of taxes, your reward is great in Heaven.

Anything other than government run systems that help the poor and needy should be considered as bonus gifts. God has already supplied for everyone's need through a system of government that stands ready to help. It might take a little work to acquire help but don't cry to me if you are too lazy to fill out the paperwork.

Don't Let Your Boys or Girls Grow Up to be Marines Unless They are Made of Sterling

How would you like to be in the military and court-martialed for refusing to take down a Bible verse. Trump said recently that he would allow religious freedom to take place as long as he was President. He said it to clergy and religious leaders. Trump should fight for Sterling and help get her job back.

I suppose you can be religious as long as it is in your own house or church buildings. Bring it into the secular work place and all hell will break loose. Can you imagine all the cowering and fearful Marines who got offended over one little Bible verse in the workplace. They can verbalize FU and other barbaric words and yet one verse of the Bible and these burly men got so upset that they had to fink on Sterling and court-martial her.

Thank God for true marines like Sterling who sets a great example for others to follow in their footsteps. If I was in a fox hole, I would want to be besides Sterling instead of cry babies who pretend to be true Marines.

Poor Misunderstood Comedian

Kathy Griffin did a lot of soul searching this week. She had a picture taken with Trump that she now regrets with tears and sorrow. I'm sure it was all done in humor but it did not go over well with most people.

We should be careful in joking too much. We might have to cry a lot when our jokes go south and we become the target of people's animosities.

Eph 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

Is Being Prosperous or Poor a SIN?

God is not impressed whether you're rich or poor.

Ruth 3:10        And he said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my daughter: for thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich.

God looks at the heart of man and not on his purse or wallet.

Ge 6:5            And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

It is a sin to say God wants everyone to be poor or rich. If God wanted everyone rich they would all be driving Cadillacs or Mercedes. It is the same sin to say or preach prosperity against poverty or poverty against prosperity. It is a sin because preachers should not preach their feeling but only the facts from the WORD OF GOD.

I would think prosperity would be a blessing and not a curse in some people and in others money can bring financial or family troubles. I think we can agree on this, God gives us what we need and can use. Not for our greed but for our need.

WORD TO THE WISE: THOSE CHILDREN OF GOD WHO SEEK RICHES  WILL PROBABLY REMAIN POOR WHEREAS THOSE WHO SEEK TO ADVANCE THE KINGDOM WITH THEIR WEALTH WILL RECEIVE MORE FINANCIAL BLESSING.

Many are poor because they lust after wealth and that's a sin.

Let Love Be Our Guide

None of us are perfect. In fact the Bible gives a perfect description of us,

3:10                 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
3:11                 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
3:12                 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
3:13                 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
3:14                Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
3:15                 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
3:16                 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
3:17                 And the way of peace have they not known:
3:18                 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
3:19                 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
3:20                 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

It is in our nature to lie and do mischief. The sooner we realize how imperfect we are the better we will become. We should not trust ourselves but be constantly evaluating our behavior and changing for the better.

During the Presidential Inauguration a picture was circulating showing how small President Trumps' crowd was at his inauguration compared with Obama's inauguration. Who really cares, many of us would say. However, many in the media cared a lot. They no doubt were trying to downplay how important the day was for Trump's supporters. The truth or fact of the matter was that no tally was given. No one knows how large it really was. However there were pictures. But do pictures always demonstrate the facts?

There are so many factors involved in comparing pictures from previous years in order to prove a point of who is the greatest President elect of all time. You have to examine the whole facts and look at more than one picture. You have to look at crowd control and even possible demonstrators that might be blocking entrance ways. There might even be other factors that may make for a great or bad picture. Not all things are equal when given there are so many changing variables that make for a picture from inauguration to inauguration.

The one thing that struck me was mean-spiritedness of people who brought it up size to begin with. It was like a spectator at your wedding who pointed out how small it was. "It was the smallest wedding I have ever seen," he or she would say.  He not only gossiped about how small it was but also showed pictures. In his hateful spirit he might even give a picture to the press to show how that not many showed up at your wedding.

There is a lot of hate going on right now. We need to stay calm and show a little love. Let love be our guide in everything we do. We need to by all means constrain our lower nature and let the spirit of love guide us always.

Is Building a Wall for Security 'Biblical'?

Exo 14:22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

When Israel left evil Egypt, the pharaoh and his minions tried to destroy all of them. They were prevented by a pillar of fire and wall of safety that God provided to usher the children of God across the red sea.

1Ki 3:1 And Solomon made affinity with Pharaoh king of Egypt, and took Pharaoh's daughter, and brought her into the city of David, until he had made an end of building his own house, and the house of the LORD, and the wall of Jerusalem round about.

Wise Solomon who built the temple also put a wall around Jerusalem.

2:17 Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.

Walls were essential to the old world and will be in the future world to come:

Rev 21:12       And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
Rev 21:14       And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Rev 21:15       And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
Rev 21:17       And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
Rev 21:18       And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
Rev 21:19       And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

Rev 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Not everyone will be allowed through the gates of God's city and neither should countries allow full access to their cities or nations by illegal immigration. They (countries with open boarders) are only asking for trouble.

I've Been Ripped Off!

Our evil world is growing stronger and stronger. What can we do? Income tax (US) in 1913 was only 1 percent, but now it takes the worker 107 days just to pay their Federal, State and local taxes.

Mar 31, 2015 - “This year, Americans will work the longest to pay federal, state, and local individual income taxes (43 days),” the report stated. “Payroll taxes will take 26 days to pay, followed by sales and excise taxes (15 days), corporate income taxes (12 days), and property taxes (11 days).

God demands only 10% from His people called the tithe, but yet our civil governments wants more than that by us paying exorbitant high taxes.

Who do they think they are?

What can we do to get back. Maybe we need a little eye for an eye, tooth for tooth type justice.  I'm sure the church can come up with some ideas that will help keep us from distributing our wealth to governments that want us to fund all their social and military agendas.

Maybe we ought to work less. Some of us can get by without working so much. Working a lot only puts us up in a higher tax bracket. There are things we can do for ourselves that will save us money. Perhaps some home repairs can be accomplished by us when we have more time to do them.

Have you ever considered growing your own food?  Why spend your money for adulterated food when you can have God blessed-home grown food.

I am sure there are a lot of great ideas. Maybe you would like to share some? Here is another one I like to share: Don't waste your money on entertainment. Start studying your Bible and stop the flow of filthy music and vile movies from entering your head. Purify yourself and start hearing from God. The word of God is ready to spring forth a pure river in your soul by giving you access to all godly wisdom. The garbage of the world is corrosive and destructive. We need God's healing salve and the blood of Christ to cleanse us from all sin.

Dear Jesus: Please forgive me and take me to heaven when I die. I believe you died for all sinners. Thank you for your love and offering us eternal life. I call out to you, save me and wash me in your blood. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.
