Believe in God

The Bible makes it clear how God wants us to respond to His being.

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" Hebrews 11:6.

We must believe in God and God confirms His Words in our hearts. I remember as a young man of eighteen when God spoke in my heart with these questions:

"Do you believe in God?"

"Yes," I acknowledged.

"Do you believe in the Bible?"

"Yes," again I acknowledged.

Do you believe in my Son?

"Yes, I believe in Jesus."

"Then why are you not studying my Word by ready my Scriptures?"

God made a good point. It is sad that many believe in God and yet have not read the Scriptures. They have the faintest idea about the God in whom they believed.

Another Word came to me months later. It was a Word that I never knew, "Abide."

Jesus said,

"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me" John 15:4.

This is an important message. We need to study the Word of God and also abide and stay with its teaching. We should always be learning and growing in faith. We should never stop studying God's Word. We should abide and live in His Words. Jesus gave the importance of always living and abiding in His Word,

"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God" Matthew 4:4.

Jeremiah the prophet said about the same thing,

"Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts" Jeremiah 15:16.

It is a shame that many Christians do not memorize Scripture. We should know whole books of the Bible by the time we reach our senior years. But we remember more about the movies we watched on TV than books of the Bible.

Let's Get Into the Bible

The easiest way for me to show you beginning steps of faith is by directing you to my books. These books will give you a foundation in Scripture. The first book is called, "The Roman Road".

The next book has to do with Hell.

These books will give you a fundamental understanding of Scripture before we head off to the advanced study of Scripture.

The Mark of Zot

Zot, the zealot of truth, is ready
in the name of Jesus to avenge
the poor and put to flight the
demons of this world.

The Bible says there are many
demons on the loose in our planet.
They go by many names. Their
goal is to destroy God's creation
called, MAN.

"And he asked him, What is thy
name? And he answered saying,
My name is Legion: for we are
many" Mark 5:9.

When sin came into the world,
it brought a hideous and cruel
army. An army so fierce and
monstrous that they make all
the armies of men seem like
children playing with toys.

Their mission is clear: kill,
steal, and destroy. An
unsuspecting person may
have a demon or two troubling
them.

Demons are united in their cause
and cunning in their schemes.
They are as giants in a land of
grasshoppers: treading down the
weak, killing the defenseless, and
plundering the poor. They are always
unmerciful in their dealings with men.
They have caused a lot of grief in
our society.

God did not leave us to
fend for ourselves. He
gave us the Sword of the
Spirit, which is the Word
of God.

"For the Word of God is
quick, and powerful, and
sharper than any twoedged
sword, piercing even to the
dividing asunder of soul
and spirit, and of the joints
and marrow, and is a discerner
of the thoughts and intents of
the heart" Hebrews 4:12.

In the hands of a skillful
swordsman like Zot,
demons flee in terror.

"And take the helmet of
salvation, and the sword
of the Spirit, which is
the Word of God"
Ephesians 6:17.

Zot may give you green tea
to drink, but it is Jesus who
gives living waters. Jesus said,

"Whosoever drinketh of the
water that I shall give him shall
never thirst; but the water that I
shall give him shall be in him a
well of water springing up into
everlasting life"
John 4:14.

Jesus can give you purpose to
life and your very own sword
to fight our common enemy.

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in
the Lord, and in the power of his
might. Put on the whole armour of
God that ye may be able to stand
against the wiles of the devil. For
we wrestle not against flesh and
blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers
of the darkness of this world,
against the spiritual wickedness in
high places" Ephesians 6:10-12.

The Bible is the Word of God

Even though we have God influencing us, we must all be taught of God. There are too many voices within and without that give the seeker of truth false information. It is impossible to find truth without the being taught from the Book of Truth.

Jesus said,

"It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me" John 6:45.

Jesus taught that preaching of the Word was like sowing seed,

"Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty" Matthew 13.

The Word of God is the Bible

That is why the preaching of the Word of God is so important. Many things try to choke the Word so it doesn't bear fruit in our hearts.  And now we come to the first thing that God wants us to learn: God is revealing Himself through the Words of the Bible. Sure the Bible contains history but also the knowledge about God and salvation though Christ.

The wicked ones are all around us. The Bible's validity is attacked from all sides by evil doers. If the Bible is destroyed, the evil one thinks that God's voice will be silenced. God will never be silenced. If God has too, He will appoint angels to deliver His message,

"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters" Revelation 14:6-7.

The Attack upon the Word of God

The attack upon the Word of God has always been prevalent in society. Many attack the character of the witnesses of God. These witnesses would include the Apostles, Prophets, and many contemporaries.  If the witnesses sound religious, the evil children of Satan would excluded them from being reliable witness and hope you would do the same. The wicked ones would rather use secular historians for proving their points than religious disciples that quote the Word of God.

Many against the Bible become bold face liars themselves when they try to deceive and prove that the men of God were so. They have never met the disciples or prophets of the Holy Scripture and yet they slander them with all kinds of allegations.

However, why do we accept the words of men who declare they are speaking the words of God? There we go again, we come back to the inner relationship that we have with God. God is influencing our decisions that we make concerning His Word.

"The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law" Deuteronomy 29:29.

God reveals things within ourselves that no one can teach. It is a revelation that cannot be penned. The Word of God gives light and understanding and it is by His Spirit that reveals truth to the inner man.

Jesus spoke to one of His disciples and asked him,

"But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven" Matthew 16:16-17.

You can hear all kinds of things concerning God but it is the inner teacher that drives the truth home to our inner soul. At this moment you are reading my words. Some of you will become confused while others will have no understanding and yet a few will understand. What is the difference among all my readers? The ones that understand have a connection with God while others not tuned to His voice will not the faintest idea of what is being said.

It is hard for a deft and blind man to read books. He can, but it takes special skills. It takes special skills to learn to hear the voice of God. Today the average person has many minds. These thoughts lead us into many directions. I remember this quote, "Many Minds, Many Masters." How true it is. How do we still the thoughts that lead us astray when we want to hear the voice of God within our soul?

I think prayer is the key to hearing God's voice. Ask God to help you. He is there within your soul. Ask him to reveal himself and give you peace of mind.

"Ye have not, because ye ask not" James 4:2.

Let's end on that note today. Pray now for God to open your mind. Pray that you may hear and see everything that God has for you. By hearing you want to hear and understand; and by seeing you want to see and perceive.

The Tract Killer

Do you feel satisfaction everytime
you shred or demolish the Word of
God?

Is it your duty to rid the
world of life and truth?

I've got sad news for you. By your
willful actions, you are fulfilling the
Word of God and sealing your fate.

The Bible says,"And the Gospel must
first be published among all nations"
(Mark 13:10).

"And He that believeth and is baptized
shall be saved; but he that believeth
not shall be damned"
Mark 16:16.

Did you know that the same power
that saves a sinful soul and takes
him to Heaven can also damn a
Christ rejecting soul into the depths
of Hell?

Your actions testify what you believe.
The Bible says, "For there is nothing
covered, that shall not be revealed;
and hid, that shall not be known"
Matt. 10:26.

Why choose death when life
is at hand. Receive the light
while it is still day, and the
Lord will fill you with
everlasting wisdom.
Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.
To be saved, you must be willing
to turn from your ignorance and sin and
move towards the true light of the
knowledge of Christ.

It was Jesus who paid your sin
debt by shedding His own blood and dying
in your place. It is His pure blood that sets
the captives free.

God hates sin so much that blood is required.
Jesus paid the price to ransom you from Hell
and judgment. In Christ, you can have His free
victory. Free in that it cost you nothing, but costly in
that it cost Him His earthly life. Free eternal life!
Free for the asking! Jesus said,"I am the
resurrection, and the life" (John 11:25).

Dear God: I acknowledge my sin. Please forgive
me. I accept that Jesus died on the cross for my sins
to set me free from eternal damnation. I receive
your love gift. Be merciful to me a sinner. Thank you
for saving me and taking me to Heaven when I die.

AMEN.

Do You Believe in God?

Do You Believe in God?

Why do people believe in God? Is childhood upbringing so important that it stays with a person all their lives? Do we really have a mind of our own? If we are brought up as a Christian, will we always remain a Christian? Many questions like these come up in varied forms throughout our lives.

I think influence does mean a lot. Jesus said to His disciple to go into the entire world and preach the gospel.

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.…"Mark 16:15

If people were not influenced, then the gospel would have no power and souls would not be saved. But there is more than just hearing the words of a preacher that convicts a soul or convinces a person that there is a God.

God Speaks on the Inside

Those attuned to their inner selves can hear the voice of God. His voice for the most part is not loud and boisterous. His voice is soft like a brook and sometimes persistent like a loving parent giving us correction.

I like to give a radio analogy about the voice of God and of Satan. We like a radio are receivers. We pick up thoughts in our brains that come from two sources. Sure we have our own thoughts but they are at times influenced by the inner voice of God or Evil.  A little kid is thinking about putting his hand in a fire. The inner voice of God says, "Don't do it." While the voice of Satan says, "Do what you want and place your hand in the fire." The child soon learns to obey or disobey his different impulses. The wise child will learn to obey the voice of God while the rebellious will always choose the wrong course of action.

Is There a God?

Inquiry minds want to know, Is there a God? What does your inner guidance say? Are you confused and still haven't relied upon the voice of God to lead you? Many voices in this world will confuse you. Some will say, "God does not exist." They even give reasons based on evolution, science, knowledge, and debate. But what say you?

God is within each of us until we reject His influence. We must all be careful not to grieve God to the point where He does not speak within us. When we start rejecting His inner truth we are left with emptiness and become prey to satanic voices.

Children of God are the pure in heart. They do see God. It isn't just about hearing about God, it is more about hearing from God in the inner man. I pity those who no longer hear from God. They need to repent from grieving Him and open their hearts a new and allow the fresh breath of God to fill them.

I'm afraid many will not take my advice. They now dance to a new drummer and sing their new songs of rebellion. God has been forgotten and new voices have taken His place within the soul.

Those Who Have Learned from the Father Will Come to Jesus.

"It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me" John 6:45.

In my next post we will learn what it is that the Father teaches. It won't be something new to the faithful. The Father of lights has already taught them.

Into the Future

Are you ready for the future? Times are getting rough for most people and uncertain. We need solid footing in order to survive in this world of chaos.

This blog is going to be religious in nature. I belong to a sect called Christianity, but I am far from being your average Christian. In my book "Cursed Gospel," I write:

 INTRODUCTION

The delusion as it pertains to this book is the belief that you're a Christian when in reality you're not one at all. The deluded ones walk like sheep, talk like sheep, and bleat like sheep; but they're not Christ's sheep. They are pretentious church members or clergymen who think they merit salvation by living a religious life. But in reality God doesn't know them at all. They profess they are saved by grace, but then they put an addition to it. They add to grace their sinful religious practices and turn the grace of our God into an occasion for the flesh.

“For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ” (Jude 1:4).

Their works are sinful because they are done out of the wrong motives. They seek to be made righteous by good works without the righteousness of Christ.

You'll find many of these deluded churches on city street corners taking their place of religious dominance. Their huge edifices makes Christianity look large and prosperous instead of small and scattered.

"Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it" (Matthew 7:14).

If there are few that find it, like the Bible says then the true church is not a great force in the world but a small and insignificant number with limited religious power.

Christianity looks like one big failure when the world sees the deluded church and presumes it to be the true church of God. You may have heard that Christianity was responsible for the Crusades, the Inquisition, witch hunts, and the like. Just because another family has the same last name doesn't mean that the atrocities perpetrated in that name came from your family tree.

Not every group that names the name of Christ should be considered Christian. I suppose Satan would call himself a Christian too! Satan, the great deceiver is the head of many churches pretending to be Christian. Having a church called, “The Church of the Doomed,” or, “The Church of Ichabod (the glory of the Lord is departed),” would not bring many followers into his house. But having a Christian name like, “The Word of Truth,” or “The Lighthouse of God,” would certainly bring many into house of worship.

This book will deal with one of the worse and sinister teachings that have led many to give up Christianity all together. This teaching literally deludes its followers into a form of earthly piety that many think will give them heavenly salvation.
The followers of this false teaching soon find out that they are unable to keep the rigid system of works and shortly fall completely away from all forms of Christianity. I call this teaching “grace plus works salvation.”

Nature tells us that if we add certain unfamiliar wild herbs in our cooking, we could kill ourselves. Poisonous Nightshades have wonderful looking purple berries, but are extremely deadly. The Bible speaks of a poisonous stew made from wild gourds:

“And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not. So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot. And they could not eat thereof” (2 Kings 4:39-40).

Many churches today who are teaching a mixture of grace plus works are serving a deadly pot of false salvation. Grace is good by itself, but mixed with works it makes for a deadly combination of death and destruction. The Bible says,

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace” Galatians 5:1-4).

In Genesis 15, God made a covenant with Abraham. As a token of the covenant He commanded every male should be circumcised. Every male who was not circumcised was to be cut off from the Jewish people. If they weren't circumcised they were considered as having broken the covenant. Circumcision proudly associated a person with the Jewish religion. It is a very sobering thought that a simple act of circumcision can forfeit your right of salvation through Christ,

“Christ is become of no effect unto you.”

Today, keeping the practice of circumcision for salvation may not be that prevalent. But a different, just as deadly set of actions added to grace will nevertheless make salvation ineffectual and forfeit our right to Heaven through Jesus Christ.

As a follower of Christ, you cannot remain indifferent; there is a choice to be made. Your salvation has to be completely by grace or by works. There is no mixture. Paul puts it clearly and fearfully in Romans 11:6,

“And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.”

Do you trust in Christ alone? When before the Lord you stand, will He say unto you?

“Well done, thou good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:21).

Or will He say,

“I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:22-23).

This is a great beginning. Welcome to this new blog.
