Are You Preaching Preparedness?

We see a lot of groups in the name of religion merchandising the coming disasters. "You must buy our dried food," they say. "Did you not hear that God is going to judge the world? Have you got a generator in case the power grid goes out?" "Buy my book," an author says, "on preparedness." Many business minded gurus have perfected the art of selling the possibility of a coming disaster.

I believe in a little preparedness but I'm not deluded in thinking it will keep me safe in the time of an apocalyptic judgment. I don't plan on surviving the next outpouring of God's wrath. I don't plan on surviving because I believe in God's escape plan. I am ready to be beamed up and gathered in the sky to meet the Lord in the air.

15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

There is two ways of looking at the coming judgment. You can prepare in Christ or prepare in this carnal world. You can have safety by trusting in Jesus or have delusion by trusting in your own hands and all the preparedness stuff that you can buy.

The only sure way in finding safety is by trusting in Christ. Whoever believes in Christ will never be ashamed. They will have safety in His harbor of eternal care.

I don't know about you but I have not been commissioned to save lives by selling preparedness equipment. I have been commissioned to deliver the gospel of Jesus Christ to a dead world.

6:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Christ gave us a perpetual commission. It was first given to the apostles and then given to those whom the apostles' taught.

Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

When you read the Bible you begin to observe things. The commands that the apostles observed are now commanded to you. It is a perpetual work commissioned to all Christians. It is you that God commissioned and not just your preacher or minister.

WE ARE DEAD BUT YET LIVE

Have you ever heard that when it is your time to go, it is your time to go? No matter what you do, when it is your time to die, it is your time. That you can live like the devil and yet it has no bearing on your life span? Common reasoning would tell you that it is all poppycock and yet we find many who believe that their life is numbered to an exact time in an exact way. They believe they are victims to fate. That their life is destined to happen in a manner that is beyond their control. That no matter what they do, everything is foreordained as it pertains to their life span.

We know God is sovereign right? We can't go against God's design can we? Are we not like a puppet on stings that God controls? God is stronger than us, right? Then no matter if we exercise or drink herb water, nothing matters as it concerns our life span, right?

Before we get all religious and start quoting scripture, let's examine nature. Can you plant seeds and grow garden veggies without using proper care and horticulture knowledge? Is that what farmers do when they plan and plant a crop? They just throw up all their seeds into the wind and let them fall where ever it wills and then presto; they come back months later to harvest their crops.

Here is another example, can a person not eat food for their body and yet live a long life span? Of course not, it is ludicrous idea and yet we find many of the religious with dumb ideas, especially about their views on their length of life.

First we must understand that we are all dying or already dead. It is just a matter of time before our earthly bodies succumb to life's deadly diseases and releases our soul.

Hebrews 9:27

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”

Romans 5:12

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

I got to confess something. I am already dead. I died with Christ. My appointment with death has already been fulfilled. I am not waiting to die, I have already expired,

Colossians 3:3

“For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”

Romans 6:8

“Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:”

Talk about the "Walking Dead," no wonder I'm ugly and my teeth are falling out. The scourge of death on my old body is making me look dead. However, I'm not concerned about my appointment with death. I am already dead. I am not even concerned about my appointment unto life. I have already been made alive through Christ. However, I am still entombed in this body of corruption until it sleeps or what the coroners say is DEATH.

Romans 8:11

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

The main ingredient to death is sin.

Romans 6:23

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Somebody red with horns poisoned us with sin and it is sin that has killed us. In fact, because of sin God condemns it in the flesh,

Romans 8:3

“For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:”

So when we are dealing with the flesh we are dealing with corruption that has been condemned. It has a large sign over us like a building, "This building has been condemned."

"If a housing inspector finds that all or a part of the building you live in is "unfit" to live in and that repairs cannot be made while you are living in the property, the Board of Health may issue a finding that the dwelling or a portion of the dwelling is unfit for human habitation. This finding may lead to the Board of Health's ordering that the building be condemned, that the landlord close up the property, and that the occupants vacate the portion that is unfit. If the Board of Health condemns your building, legally, you do not have to move until after a judge orders you to move."

We are now in the process of vacating the building. The appointment with death or order by God has been given. It is just a matter of time before we leave the premises.

You can now see why I am against sinless perfection in the flesh. Something that is dead and corrupted cannot be made alive or livable again. No amount of goodness will cleanse that which has already been corrupted.

The spiritual life is a whole new work within us that does away with purifying the flesh for salvation. It is by grace we are saved. We are saved not by our works but by the grace of God.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).

In a way, since our flesh has no life that rejuvenates us, it is as though we are the walking dead. However, if you are born again, there is life in the Spirit that radiates through the body of death. The new spiritual man will never die but continue to live even though the body is dead.


John 5:24

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" Ephesians 2:8-9).


Let's now get to the finishing point of this sermon. Read the story in 2 Kings Chapter 5. The leper Naaman sought to extend his life by seeking counsel from the prophet of the Lord. Through the prophet Naamam was given instruction in which he followed and extended his life. He evidently did not know it was his time to go, he sought the Lord and lengthened his life.

2 Kings 5:1

“Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.”

2 Kings 5:10

“And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.”

2 Kings 5:14

“Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.”

We must be obedient to the inner word as well as the written word. Through the inner word spoken by the Holy Ghost, God will send you instruction. You must be obedient to the direction that the Lord gives.

Acts 1:2

“Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:”

The Holy Ghost still gives commandments and we must be obedient to them. To ignore the inner and outer commandments from God is to shorten your life and fall into the hands of him that seeks to kill, steal, and destroy.

1 Peter 5:8

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

Don't be deceived. The devil is your adversary and wants to devour you or in other word, he wants to kill you. The lion is not there to lick you but to kill and eat you. Not to do battle with the devil is to willingly let him shorten your life.

As Christians we have eternal salvation but in this temporal world we must work out our own salvation.

Philippians 2:12

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”

There is only one way to fight our enemy that would shorten our lives and that is to use the provided weaponry that the Lord supplies.

Ephesians 6:16

13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel…."

If righteousness tendeth to life then more sin will shorten it.

Proverbs 11:19

“As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.”
Trying to live righteously will not save you eternally (Christ paid for your salvation by His blood) but in this world of temporal existence it will surely lengthen your days.

Judges 16:30
“And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.”

Samson didn't believe that when it was His time to go, he would die. He asked the Lord to end His life. This is different than suicide. He left his life in the hands of the Lord but prayed to have his life shorten. God answered His prayer. There is a time when we are so tired with the wickedness of this world that we might pray as Samson did. Living forever in this sinful world in a corruptible body is not something that we should all strive for; especially when our body is falling apart and giving us continual pain and agony due to our old age. But ask yourself this one question. Are you ready to leave? Have you accomplished anything worthy for your loving Lord and Savior? If not, you might want to live longer than most other Christians.

To sum it all up, the length of your temporal life is not set in stone. You carry about a dead body that you can still use for the glory of God. Walk as godly as you can. Be obedient to the Lord. Walk as the Holy Ghost directs you. Don't lose sight in doing a work for your savior. What you do for Jesus will last. Your good works will have eternal benefits. Don't be deceived that everyone loves you. The devil hates you and wants to end your life. Fight against sin or sin will kill you. Sin is the instrument or weaponry that the devil uses to kill you. Sin will invite you into its deepest pleasure and then it will kill you. Depart from evil and be obedient to the Lord who owns you. Bless you all….In Jesus's NAME.

Truth

What is truth? The simplest definition is: the real facts about something: the things that are true

: the quality or state of being true

: a statement or idea that is true or accepted as true.

Truth is not a simple matter. We all perceive facts and consider things to be true when in reality it may not be true. I heard someone say recently that he speaks the truth to everyone he meets and if people don't like it then that is too bad. Just by saying that we always speak the truth is in itself not true. Do we always speak things that are true? I know I don't. I'm not saying I'm a liar; I'm just not accurate in all things that I say. I might think I speak all things true but with age comes more facts and more knowledge that builds upon what little truth that I hope I have.

Also erroneous is the idea that our perception of truth is absolute. That it is fixed and never changes within us. With God truth is absolute for He changes not but with us our personal aspect of truth is always expanding or changing according to our growth as individuals. The Bible says that we see in part,

"For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known" (1 Corinthians 13-9-12).

Truth is not fixed for us but is expanding and opening our minds unto a broader picture of reality as we experience life.

What about outlandish opinions that people might say? Here is an example, "My wife is the most beautiful woman in the world?" Certainly we could agree without violating our beliefs and going against what we consider truth to be. However, how does that work?  Let's look at a concept of truth that most use in this world:

Relativism is the concept that points of view have no absolute truth or validity within themselves, but rather only relative, subjective value according to differences in perception and consideration.

I really don't like this definition of relativism. However it is a worldly one that we must consider. I think there is absolute truth and relative truth. Absolute truth comes from the Bible whereas relative truth comes from our understanding of the world around us and certain facts or perceived facts become more and more subjugated by us in our own personal perception and consideration.

Now let's refer to the statement that someone makes about their wife being the most beautiful woman in the world. Is it valid to say so? Should we argue against such an idea and try to bring sense to the deluded mind that says such a thing? No, instead we simply understand that his wife is the most beautiful woman in the world in his own perception. It is not absolute truth but a truth that he made for himself according to his own perception and consideration. We can thereby conceive that some truths are meant for you alone and not for me. They might be valid for you but not for me.

Don't get so narrow minded or hung up on truth that you cannot see it varied shades of meanings when used in different context of our modern lives. Truth is defined in many ways in our modern culture.

That's alright if you don't believe everything that I write. Sometimes I am flawed in my thinking or see a different aspect of truth that you do not see. Perhaps, you are looking at things in a different perspective than I do. What is true for me may not be true for you and that is okay. However let us now get into absolute truth.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Not everyone that reads the Bible will find absolute truth. They pick and choose only what they want to believe and by ignoring the rest of the WORD they get only a partial view of truth. As a follower of absolute truth you will have to read the whole book and take it all in.

"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:22.

It is so important to know absolute truth. It is so important that we are commanded to eat it every day. It is life to our bodies and nourishment to our bones,

Matthew 4:4

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

Absolute truth can be confusing at times. Take this truth,

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

If you only took the first six words of John 16 and started preaching love, you would have missed most of the other verses of scripture that would have given you a more balance view of God's love. Many have mastered deception by using only portions of scriptures. For instance, God is love, He accepts you the way you are (addition). You might be the worse sinner but God loves you and will take you to heaven. His gates are open to everyone. If you won't enter, that's okay; he will bear you upon His shoulders and carry you in. No matter what religion, we are all the children of God. We are all objects of His love and free grace (addition). Adolf Hitler might not have been perfect but with grace, he is beloved of God. (Addition means it was added to the Word of God but it is not of the Word.)

True Bible believers weigh all the facts before preaching the truth. They are careful not to say something from the WORD that is not true. John 3:16 is a good verse but we must read the rest of it. We find that only those who believe on Christ will not perish. God loves us enough to send us a savior but it is only by faith in Him that we become one of the beloved in Christ.

How many times have you heard that we are not saved by works? It is true that we are not saved by works that we do. Our works have no consequences in our acquiring salvation. Ephesians says,

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast" Ephesians 2:8-9.

We are not saved by our works but nevertheless we are saved by works. We are saved by the works of God.

It took planning:

Ephesians 1:4

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:”

It took predestination. Jesus was conformed, and born as a man:

Romans 8:29

“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

It took obedience:

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

It took death in dying for our sins:

1 Corinthians 15:3

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;”

It took life by being raised again:

1 Corinthians 15:4

“And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

Yes, we are saved by His works. We are saved, sealed, and delivered by the power of God.

This subject on truth is never ending. It is so vast that I believe I have only scratched the surface. I would only add today is that we need to get to know absolute truth. He is a person. That person is Jesus Christ. Don't try to make Him what you think he should be but let Him be the Great "I AM" in your life. As He reveals Himself to you, humbly submit to His care and enjoy every nugget of Himself that He gives you.  Truth will set you free because absolute Truth is God and he cares about you and wants to reveal Himself to you.

Aliens are Among Us.

WAR ON PLANET EARTH

Many on this planet do not know that we are in a battle with aliens. They are the worse kind of body snatching aliens that like to invade people's souls and possess them. Some of these aliens become so united to their host that many under their power do not realize that they are under alien influence.

Scientists believes there is life out there and yet are perplexed that the aliens have not shown themselves. They say, "Life is out there; we just haven’t heard from it."

I am a true earthling redeemed by the blood of the Lamb and I am here to tell you that we have already made contact with aliens that many astronomers and scientist deny exists. They do exist and I can prove it to you by the Word of God.

The scientists of this world are seeking beings of flesh and blood instead of looking for them in a different realm or dimension.

The first alien ever recorded was found in a garden that the Creator made for the first man and woman of the earth. In the garden was a serpent possessed by an alien that spoke to Eve and got Adam to sin against his Creator.

"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned"( Romans 5).

Revelation 12:9 speaks about the alien that used a serpent to kill mankind,

"And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."

Many people ignore or don't believe in aliens just because they cannot see them. They are outside our visible range of sight but nonetheless real.

From reading the Bible we find that these aliens have no good intent. They are the worse kind:  They are the murderous, killing kind,

John 10:10

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

These aliens not only have a mission to kill but also to possess. Many of their victims have been taken away to the funny farms by legal authorities who simply do not realize that many of these crazies are possessed. Read the story from Mark 5.

The poor dude not only had one demon or alien but had many. It took the KING of LIGHT to deliver him.

Mark 5:9

“And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.”

There are two things to notice about these fallen aliens. When named they used a military term called, "Legion." It is the same term the Romans used to describe their group of soldiers consisting of 3,000 to 6,000 hardened men. So we can deduce that these demons or aliens considered themselves warriors.  The other thing we should notice is their unity. They are so united in their goals that they consider themselves as being ONE. They said, "My name is Legion" as opposed to saying OUR name is Legion.  

The Bible calls these aliens, "unclean spirits." Don't get fooled. They are not of this earth. They are treacherous and want one thing only from you and that is your death. They hate you with a passion. You are of this earth and they are from the heavens. They want your soul and that of your loved ones. Give them residence and you will sooner, rather than later die from their unclean invisible hands.

Why do they have so much hatred for us EARTHLINGS? We were made in the image of God. God breathed life into us and we became a living soul.

Genesis 2:7

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

The living soul is what really upsets them. They wanted to replicate themselves and the only way they could is by killing the human soul. They are like cancers in the flesh that kill their host. They want nothing more than to kill your soul and replicate themselves inside of you.

Why? You ask. They are at war. They not only waged war against heaven but now being cast upon the earth they want to wage war with God's creation called, MAN.

What is their sole purpose? What is usually the sole purpose of aliens? They want world domination in Earth and in Heavens above where God dwells. It is not a fairy tale or a space novel; hear the oracles of God's Word,

Isaiah 14:13

“For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:”

That verse speaks of the DARK ONE OR DARK LORD. He wants domination any way he can get it. He goes by many names but one that is most familiar is SATAN.

Time has come for the final battle. It started out as STAR WARS and is ending on the earth. There is only one warrior who can defeat the DARK LORD, his name is JESUS.

Jesus is going to defeat the Dark Ones as He sits upon a white horse and uses His weapon of LIGHT:

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS" Revelation 19.

The LORD of LIGHT will do battle for HIS people.

Now there is a choice to be made. Choose now whom you will serve. Will it be the dark lord or the LORD OF LORDS? Are you at least sorry that you have yielded to demonic aliens in their quest for world domination? Every yielded action to them brings them closer to their goals. How much evil we have brought just for the fact of not choosing the LIGHT?

It is not too late to change sides and join the ARMY of LIGHT. Jesus is the light,

"In him was life; and the life was the light of men" John 1:4.

Jesus said, "He that is not with me is against me." Matthew 12:30

If you reject Christ then you are against Him. Be it known that the enemies of God will lose in the END.

Revelation 21:8

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

I leave you with this one thought,

John 1:12

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”

Jesus does not leave you alone defenseless. He will give you the weapons you need to fight the demonic aliens that attack you. You must first come to Him for salvation and then He will equip you for battle.

"And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints" Ephesians 6.

JESUS SAVE ME! I WANT TO JOIN YOUR ARMY OF SAINTS. I WANT TO BE AN OVERCOMER. FORGIVE MY SINS AND TAKE ME TO HEAVEN WHEN I DIE. MAKE ME RIGHT IN YOU. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SALVATION. IN JESUS NAME I PRAY. AMEN.

As they hurried home they noticed a terrible change in the sky during mid-day. The sky turned pitch- black.

*“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”*

Tina's father, John, was overjoyed at seeing their new puppy but something else was on his mind.

Why is it so dark out there? Is there a storm coming?

The sky was completely dark except for the horizon that had a sliver of light.

He rushed to his television set and tried to find some news. He turned to a station that viewed a couple embracing. It was one of those reality shows that had a celebrity and a guest joined together to meet some challenge. When they were successful the show's couple seemed to reward each other with a kiss. 

A day like this and no news about the darkness. John was perturbed. As he was about to turn the television set off he finally found a station that had a special bulletin. It sounded like they were saying that the earth is having a visitation from God. He was shown some pictures from a satellite that showed orbs hovering above the earth. Streaks of light were being drawn up into the bright orbs from something coming from the earth through the atmosphere.

"This could be it," John yelled to his family. "I think people are being raptured."

His words didn't affect his family too much since they were more concerned about playing with their new puppy than listening to John.

The sky started to brighten and John rushed to his window to view the city. Their apartment had a great view of the city. What John saw from his window startled him. He saw giant orbs transporting people so fast that they looked like streaks of light. The spheres or orbs emitted so much light that they made the darkness of the sky appear as light again.

Psalms 18:28

“For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.”

John knew this scripture very well,

*1 Thessalonians 4:16*

*“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:”*

That's what the orbs were doing in space. The dead are being raised.  John was now getting very excited but then he had this one thought that took all his joy away, why am I still here? Am I left behind?

*1 Thessalonians 4:17*

*“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”*

The most beautiful angelic beings were gathering Christian families together. They were like beautiful stewardesses checking for boarding passes. They were in every building gathering the beloved of God together in family groups before transporting them.

John continued having fear until the angels came to his chosen dwelling. They didn't waste time. They gathered his family together. Nothing was able to stop their visitation. They could walk through walls if they desired. They moved quickly and decisively.

John looked upon the face of one of the angelic being who had such a beauty and joy that it took his fear instantly away. The angel, however, responded shyly. She turned away bashfully breaking John's long stare.

All his family was transported that day in a beam of light unto the spheres that were waiting for them. They now awaited the Lord of Glory: *"to meet the Lord in the air"*

This was just a dream. No idea what to make of it. I don't know about you, but spiritual dreams for me are very rare. It sounds unusual being beamed up into some kind of spherical craft. Another problem for me was that all the angels that were seen were female. The Bible uses only masculine forms when dealing with angels. It could be that angels are neither male nor female. They have such beautiful faces that they appear as beautiful women. Who really knows unless you've seen one?

1 Corinthians 15:52

“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

The Beamers believe in the rapture of the Church. Of course rapture is not mentioned in the Bible. It is a Latin word. It simply means to be caught up or taken away.

Prior to or during the earthquake is when I believe we are going to be taken. It is mentioned in the Bible and is not some dream or vision.

Mark 13:27

“And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.”

When is this going to take place?

But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

"And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven" Mark 13:24-27.

Look at the fact that the elect are not gathered from the earth after the earthquake but from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth. They are in the sky waiting for Christ.

You will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. You will not be caught up after suffering the big quake.

"The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished" 2 Peter 2:9.

That is why the Lord is our rescuer and deliverer. He is merciful and good.
